Kerry Hanafin's Beowulf Question #1
When Unferth taunts Beowulf and accuses him of being unworthy of his reputation, Beowulf counterattacks and uses his past accomplishements to prove himself. Do you believe a person has the right to boast about their accomplishments to uphold their reputation? Is it more important to prove yourself in the present rather than speak of things from the past? Explain.
