Nicole Vigneau's Beowulf Question #1
Anglo-Saxon culture emphasizes the power of something through it's age and experience . Take for example: the strength of a hero's sword. The older the sword, the more powerful it is. In today's society where we are obsessed with everything that is new, is there anything that we still think must be older in in order to be better?

Yes i believe in the day and age that we live in somethings are still kept sacred. Still sought after for its aged value. Perfect example liqours and wines, these two alacohols are more valueble as time goes on, some people have wines dating back 200 years ago! Also we have all heard the expression from our elders "they don't make them like they used too". This can be applyied to any product or material pre-mass production. Examples, automobiles, tools, metal products opposed to plastic etc.
